I’m a writer and editorial leader from Massachusetts who now calls Vermont home.

Formative years spent as a wilderness guide and snowboard instructor showed me that stories—not explanations—are what help people navigate fear and uncertainty. I didn’t quite understand the full gravity of that until I told a personal story about mental health on stage for the first time, but it shaped my 15+ year journey in marketing, outdoor education, and leadership development.

Writing is how I continue to make sense of the world and my place in it. I started The Unobstructed to demonstrate a built-in-public approach to live editorial systems designed to preserve clarity, voice, and trust. Now, my approach is used by billion-dollar companies, small creative teams, and readers from over 37+ countries.

When not working, you can find me trail running, building websites, or getting lost in a Fredrik Backman novel with a strong cup of coffee.
